When a mother puts her dreams aside for her kids, the dream never dies.
Lisa Vanderlaan, the smiling face on the right is a mother of 3! She has always had a heart for taking care of children. Her house was always full of kids, whether by babysitting or her own kids plus their friends. She had that house!
She had this dream that was never reached back when her kids were in school. She then went on to help her daughter pursue her dream of opening a pottery studio. That is exactly what we did! This picture is from our grand opening in Downtown Rutherfordton, NC after a year in business. Moving to downtown we threw a Grand Opening we never had the first time around.
The exciting news is we will get to do the same for her! Beyond the Clayground is a kids art center that will have classes, workshops and more! The best part is....
It is next to our pottery studio! This gives us the opportunity to not only bring clay into the picture but also continue to grow this amazing family business we are building!
